With January coming to a close, how is your fresh start coming? Are you noticing your goals fade as you begin to go back to your old routine? Don't let it! Stay positive!
Here are two tips that will help make a huge difference with staying on track! 1. Write your goals down on paper. 2. pay attention to the small steps of success along the way ( examples:you can now squat 20 pounds more than you did a few months ago, you can run up and down your stairs with arms full and not get winded, or your pants are not staying up!).
The small changes come first, and if you ask any of my clients, they know i stress that I believe it is most important. That is why when we do a goal setting session, we create short term and long term goals. Also, as we train I record the weight you lift, along with reps and sets accomplished. So if you improve, we can see it right away.
Remember, this is a healthy long-term lifestyle change! You can only get better with time, and your goals will need to grow with you! Stay strong on your path to a healthier, happier, newer you!
